I’d rather be salt than artificial sweetener!! “Ye are the salt of the earth, if the salt loses its flavor, it’s thrown out to be trampled underfoot.”

Salt gets in open wounds and stings. Open wounds are unresolved hurt and pain, which because of being bound together with unforgiveness keeps the wound open.

Lovers of this world hate salt! Salt preserves and purifies. Spiritually speaking, salt is truth and light in it’s raw form. When a person is salt, they swim upstream, they are unique and stand instead of giving into peer pressure. When the world is steeped in death and decay, salt offers preservation and purification. Political correctness renders salt useless or neutralized.

The artificial sweeteners of the world are fake and seek to keep the peace even if it means lying through vain flattery! Artificial sweeteners tend to lavish insincere praise and sweet words to further their own interests or gain. Sweet talkers have selfish motives and do not offer truth in purity. Politically correct people do not challenge each other, rather they are afraid of confrontation.

Spiritual decay is eminent and unavoidable when salt is not present. “Ye are the light of the world! One does not light a candle and put a covering over it!” No, when we light a candle we set it out in the open so that it can give light to all in the house. People who love the darkness and pleasures of sin, hate light because it exposes the decay and causes discomfort and conviction. Light and salt prick the conscience. That’s why the world has always sought to silence truth. The world tries to cover up the light, they want to neutralize the salt! They can’t stand the sting of raw truth! He who has an ear, then HEAR!
